Colloidal hyaluronic acid

Colloidal hyaluron is a very special active ingredient that also occurs naturally in our body.

However, as we age, the body's own production of hyaluron also decreases. Colloidal hyaluron can bind large amounts of water, making our skin look smoother, plumper, and more vital.

Application of colloidal hyaluron

As we age biologically, the elasticity of connective tissue decreases. Fine lines and wrinkles appear on the skin. A change in connective tissue develops. When colloidal hyaluron is applied to the skin, it quickly penetrates the liquid connective tissue (extracellular matrix) and from there directly into the cells. Colloidal hyaluron absolutely requires colloidal silicon dioxide to enhance its specific effect in the ground substance of the connective tissue. If hyaluron is to be supplied to the skin, it must be in colloidal form.

Hyaluronic acid in non-colloidal form, e.g., through injections, ointments, creams, disrupts the functional harmony of the ground substance of connective tissue and can lead to undesirable side effects.
